Boston Mills / Brandywine Ski Patrol

Welcome to the Boston Mills / Brandywine Ski Patrol Site

The Boston Mills / Brandywine Ski Patrol is made up of over 250 trained volunteers. We provide resort visitors assistance and promote snow sports safety at the two areas located in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.  The patrol was awarded the "National Outstanding Alpine Patrol for the 1996/1997 and 2003/2004 seasons." Our education programs offer the chance to learn about outdoor emergency care, search and rescue, mountaineering, ski and toboggan handling, lift evacuation, avalanche and other interesting snow sports related topics.  The National Ski Patrol and our local patrol education programs are an exciting challenge both in the classroom and on the slopes. Just as important as the patrollers’ role as a rescuer, is making sure the slopes are a safe and enjoyable activity for everyone. Our presence on the hill and actions on behalf of area management help inspire resort visitors of all ages to ski and board responsibly and have more fun.
